Our Story
Who We Are
The Northeast Wisconsin Rugby Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit created to facilitate the growth of youth rugby in NE Wisconsin. Founded in 2013, our organization has been dedicated to bringing the sport of rugby to young athletes across the region.
Our goal is to develop teamwork, sportsmanship and leadership in youth through rugby. We believe the values instilled through the sport extend far beyond the field — shaping character, building confidence, and creating community.
Through our clubs, fields, and events, we provide opportunities for young people across NE Wisconsin to discover and fall in love with rugby. We also believe that all kids deserve the opportunity to learn through team sports.
What We Stand For
Rugby is the ultimate team sport. Every player depends on their teammates — on and off the field we build bonds that last a lifetime.
We teach respect for opponents, officials, and the game itself. Win with grace, lose with dignity — that's the rugby way.
Rugby develops confident, decisive young leaders. Players learn to communicate, make decisions under pressure, and lift those around them.
We are rooted in NE Wisconsin. Our clubs, fields, and families are the fabric of this region, and we're proud to grow the game here.
